Do the musicians come to the rehearsal?

It is not necessary for the musicians to attend the wedding rehearsal. We will speak with the bride well in advance and establish the lineup of the processional, as well as any music to be played during the ceremony and the recessional. This information is placed in the contract and followed exactly as discussed. The leader will arrive 30 minutes early to discuss any last-minute details, usually with the wedding planner or coordinator.

What if we want music not listed on your web site?

If a special piece of music is not listed on our web site, do ask us about it. If we do not, we will do our best to source it. This may entail a small add-on fee. But we will do our very best to find your special request!

We are getting married some distance away. Is there an extra charge for travel?
Yes, there will be a fee for travel if your wedding is out of town. Please ask about a quote.
Can you accompany a vocalist?

Yes, we can. Depending on the piece and the availability of the music, we can work with a vocalist. There will be an additional fee for rehearsing with the vocalist, which will occur 45 minutes prior to our start time.

Can you play outdoors?

Yes, we can, though we need to be covered to protect the instruments. This can be in the form of a tent, dense shade, or a building overhang. Classic Touch musicians will not perform outdoors in temperatures lower than 60 degrees or higher than 90 degrees. In addition, whether indoors or outdoors, we will need flat-bottom chairs without arms.

What do you wear?
Many brides select formal black. If your wedding is less formal we can wear our “Sunday best.” But we leave this decision entirely up to you.
How do I engage Classic Touch?

Upon receipt of the signed contract and a small deposit your date will be secured and we will engage the musicians. The balance is due two weeks prior to your event.
